Q & A ADOPTION PROCESS

It is important to to note that puppies listed on this site do not all come from the same home. As administrator of this site, I work as a liaison between breeders and inquiring pet parents. Adoption fees, contracts and final placement decisions are finalized by each puppies breeder. This page should you want to further understand why we chose to showcase our puppies collectively should answer some of your questions.

Step One

Each puppy profile hosts a purchase price, set by each puppies breeder. I I work as liaison between inquiring pet parents and breeders. I do not determine their deposit, refund or contract policies. I try to list purchase details with each post and if puppies are fully immunized breeders and available for new homes immediately, their may not be any deposit required. Going through the puppy profiles you will see a variety of different circumstances but at any time you are confused about the price and adoption process of a pup please feel to reach out.

STEP ONE - Contact Me, any serious inquiries I then pass onto the pups breeder and have them contact you. FINAL placement is determined by pups original breeder.

Model is Margo - CKC registered Toy Poodle who is a dream to groom, she is smart and selective about the people she welcomes into her space. Sincerely love working with this beautiful little soul.

Deposits ???

There some breeders much like many buyers who do not agree with putting a deposit down on puppies. If this is you, please acknowledge this and I would be happy to direct you to a breeder who is of the same mind set. But note, often without a deposit breeders are not willing to transport puppies any distance to meet you.

The idea of hoping a breeder would transport a puppy from one province to another without any financial reassurance that their little tea cup sized pup is being moved their new home destination without a concrete commitment is unrealistic.

If The pup that interests you requires a deposit to be reserved this money is sent directly to the breeder and not to me. BE CAUTIOUS, verify refences. I personally encourage anyone sending a deposit to ask for references, and if you have concerns about sending a deposit to anyone associated with this site or any other and you are not sure how to verify the legitimacy of the seller, contact me and I will either walk you through it or inquire on your behalf. My personal strategy is to give out my Vets Name but their contact info, that way people have to google the number. I also give out a previous employers business name so people again can look up the contact details themselves, and can avoid me sending false info which is a typical scam where bogus numbers lead only to another dishonest resource.

Model is Sidda Leigh, a friendly and full loving cockapoo who has yet to meet anyone she doesn't like, Her favourite past time is taking over caring puppies that are not her own and sneaking out of the house to visit a local daycare kids.

Am I Choosing the Right Breeder or Puppy for me.

Great Question! And one only you can answer. My rule of thumb is if I like the person, often their puppies are a reflection of their personalities. Go with your gut, this is a long time commitment and there are many reputable resources available.   Do your homework and see if your breeder can challenge or support what have learned prior to reaching out to them. Ask about why they chose their particular breed or cross, it may surprise you. Then ask about the temperaments and health issues or training concerns associated with the breed or puppy you are interested in.

Some breeders are fountain of info with expertise in genetics, hereditary illness, behavioral issues, training and early development or dietary and veterinary background, I have often told pet parents, "I don't always know all the answers to your questions, but give me half a day - because I bet I know someone who does know the answer!"

Model - Rory a nearly all white little Yorkie, a breed I find so easy to train due to their build in confidence. Rory does not love the groomers, nor is she a fan of that bow in her hair but I couldn't resist.

here's an example of a pet purchase agreement, while some might be slightly different this is what will be included in your puppy pack, along with health record, food that puppy is currently eating, blanket, toy and treats.

And of course your breeders contact informantion as each puppy goes home with a lifetime of support from both ME :) and puppies breeder.
